We are a company of artists. Art is in the fine-tuned palates of our brewers and distillers, the imagination of our culinary crew and the creative bend our designers put into our brand. But what we’ve come to discover is that artists come in many forms and that our team members express their creativity both on the job and after hours.
So, we want to take a minute to introduce you to some of our artists who exemplify our motto – Creative People. Remarkable Results.

In the depths of the kitchen at our downtown Holland pub, you’ll hear plenty of laughter, impassioned discussion and possibly catch sight of a dance move or two. Especially if you’re looking over and spot Ryan Santellan.
Our kitchen Expo Captain (who just got a promotion in our Brewhouse as a Production Assistant as this post went live) is someone who is passionate about food, people and the power of being awesome. (Maybe not in that order.)

Our inboxes and phones lit up yesterday when new life was breathed into a post from 2012 from Beer Street Journal, “Sam Calagione Gives Beer Geeks an Earful. And It’s Awesome" based on a post Sam made in the comments section of BeerAdvocate.com. Many of our friends got excited, because we’ve been beating a similar drum for a while, and it’s great that Sam weighed in, as he has the Beer Geek’s ear like no other. However, as we reflect we think there’s more at issue than the problematic instinct claiming that “brewers who dared to grow are overrated.”
Kalamazoo Beer Week is a week-long series of events that support the craft beer experience through special tastings, dinners, and interactive events. Patrons will meet the brewers themselves, learn about what it takes to develop these kinds of intricate, highly desired products, and hopefully achieve a greater sense of this market segment that has taken hold of beer drinkers everywhere.New Holland will be hosting some events around town and we'd love to see you in the 'zoo!

Don’t worry – nothing to be scared of. Not plastic surgery horror stories the likes of Joan Rivers, Kenny Rogers or Bruce Jenner – just a nice touchup as we kick off 2014.
So, why bother?
