We are a company of artists. Art is in the fine-tuned palates of our brewers and distillers, the imagination of our culinary crew and the creative bend our designers put into our brand. But what we’ve come to discover is that artists come in many forms and that our team members express their creativity both on the job and after hours.
So, we want to take a minute to introduce you to some of our artists who exemplify our motto – Creative People. Remarkable Results.

New Holland Artisan Spirits got started in 2005 with founder and owner, Brett VanderKamp manning the first 60 gallon kettle. Almost ten years later, we laid down just shy of 200 full-size casks of malt whiskey and bourbon, about 40 full-size casks of rum and 4,000-5,000 gallons of gin, white rum and white whiskey. Each one running through our 600-gallon pre-Prohibition era still. The man who oversees it all is our Head Distiller, Brad Kamphuis.
Looking for a nice way to spend a quiet night with your Valentine or with a group of your favorite friends? What about a beer and chocolate pairing? Our Beervangelist, Fred Bueltmann, has some ideas on pairing up some complimentary and contrasting flavors.

Deep alluring character draws you in; attitude brings you back for more. There’s softness, but sometimes you like it rough. Some describe sweetness, but you know the whole story. When you get a taste, you might feel comfort, intrigue, or halting arousal from intense assertiveness. You know you want it.
So, here's the thing - we love what we do. When you work for New Holland it's usually not just because you like good beer and a nice cocktail every once in awhile. Here we're pretty passionate about not only our products, but exploring them and how they pair with the perfect meal, perfect ingredients, perfect moment.
Which means most of us take a little bit of our work home with us and sometimes our workspace is a tiny bar in a spare room of our houses, like it is for our Georgia Beer & Spirits Ambassador, Tyler Nelson.
Tyler really does love making cocktails and we'll be honest, he's put a few of us under the table with some of them. So, let's take a look at what Tyler does in his spare time with a few bar tools and plenty of artistry.
In the frozen tundra of mid-Michigan in February – you’ll hear your share of snow blowers and possibly even some cursing under the breath of those enduring a long, cold winter.
But that all changes as we pull out our earflap hats and moon boots for a week-long celebration of beer as well as those who make it and those who love it.
Grand Rapids Beer Week runs February 17-23 and will host a multitude of events – including several New Holland-sponsored beer dinners, a game night and our 4th Annual Pre-Beer Fest Birthday Bash at Billy’s Lounge.
Nothing says "Pure Michigan" like standing outside on a wintry day, huddled around fire pits or standing in lines to chat up local brewers and sample handcrafted beers.
It's that time of year again - the SOLD OUT 2014 MBG Winter Beer Festival is February 22 (1-6pm). For more details on the festival, visit the Michigan Brewers Guild website.
As for us, we'll be bringing a mess of beer with us and a whole crew of New Holland peeps to pour for your tasting pleasure!
