Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

Key areas of responsibility

Market Event coordination:  Prioritize, support, promote & organize

Network:  Manage key National relationships with event chairs, restauranteurs & trade media
Educate:  Prepare and present topics of related educational value.

 

Current Markets: Event influence covers NHB’s  trade area (Currently 13 states)

MI, OH, IL, WI, MN, MO, KY, PA, NJ, VA, DC, NC, SC

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of beer styles, serving and care

Extensive knowledge of spirit styles, serving and care
Food forward perspective and knowledge of culinary network.

Cicerone Certified Server Exam

Presentation software

Event management

Personable and presentable in public and social settings
Proficient with computers and internet, especially MS Office and web interface.
Enthusiastic and optimistic
Valid Driver’s License & capable vehicle
Self-motivated and capable of working independently

Available and capable of regular business travel

Title Art and Communication Coordinator

Job Summary

The Art and Communication Coordinator is responsible for project management, oversight, supervision and direction of the Art and Communication team.  The Art/Comm team reports to Sales and Marketing, while providing services for the company and all departments.

Reports to VP Sales and Marketing
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform or coordinate all aspects of the artistic process
  • Graphic Design: 
    • Implement design work for various departments, as requested.
    • May include package design, ads/flyers, website development and/or brand creation.
  • Production: 
    • Oversee quotes, specs and proofs with vendors related to graphic reproduction in print or on the web.
    • Manage in-house projects that may include photography, audio/video development or other published work.
  • Communication: 
    • Oversee & coordinate company’s communication channels, including intra-company and public relations.
    • May assist and/or develop content, but is primarily responsible for developing strong channels and training teams to use them effectively.
Qualifications

Skill Sets and Requirements:

  • Proficient to excellent computer knowledge of and experience with desktop publishing, creative design suites and print processes
  • Proficient to excellent knowledge of and experience with various computer programs, including but not limited to Adobe products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail programs
  • Knowledge of social media
  • Industry product knowledge: complete or willing to complete Cicerone Certified Server Exam
  • Good physical condition, including but not limited to:
    • lift 55 lbs on an irregular basis
    • have good hearing and vision
    • repeatedly climb stairs
    • repeatedly perform bending motions

Title Event Crew

Job Summary

Event Crew members are responsible for supporting our Sales and Marketing Department.  This is a very part-time, hourly position with the primary responsibility being the presentation of tours on Saturdays.  This  position would be ideal for a homebrewer/beer enthusiast that would like to be involved with our company while maintaining another job.

Reports to Support Coordinator
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Host and conduct brewery tours at our production facility on Commerce Ct.
  • Host and conduct distillery tours at our downtown Holland location.
  • Represent New Holland at trade and market events (festivals, tastings, internal events, etc…)
Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Clean driving record with reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of craft beer and spirits or willingness to learn.
  • Flexible schedule – primarily Saturdays.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
