Red Tulip is a red ale that features rich and smooth flavors of malted barley, balanced by underlying hints of dark fruit. Brewed in homage to our hometown tulip festival, Red Tulip evokes spring’s renewing spirit. Excellent with roasted pork, red-meats and dried fruits such as figs, raisins and cranberries.
14° Plato, Alc. 5.25% by Vol.

Please start selling this in bottles again. This is by far my favorite beer out there and it is a shame we can only get it during Tulip time.
Hi Joe,
I’m actually looking forward to trying it for the first time at Tulip Time, as I just started at NHBC this fall. I hear a lot of good things.
I hate to be a buzzkill, but I don’t see it on the bottling schedule for 2013, but I’ll definitely pass on your comment to the Brewing and Sales teams!
Cheers!
Emily
I second Joe’s request. I’ve been stopping at the local bottle shop at least twice a month looking for this. Didn’t realize it was no longer bottled. *shakes fist*
So sorry to be the bearer of bad news on this one. Black Tulip will be hitting the streets soon – I know, it’s not Red Tulip, but it’s got “tulip” in the name, so you know, that’s something.
Apologies for not being able to make all your beer dreams come true.
Cheers,
Emily
Will it be available in the bar or to purchase by the keg?
Hi Brian,
Red Tulip will be available at the Pub only at this point. Might be worth the road trip and snagging a couple of growlers!
Hope to see you!
Emily
This is unfortunate. Definitely on my top three list amongst Duchesse de Bourgone, and Dirty Helen. I have been missing this in Central KY for about four years now,……but I still fondly remember.
I feel the same way Dan. I’m here in VA and still can remember one of my favorite brews. Another vote for bottling this! Sign me up for a case
