The Four Witches art, illustrated by Kyle Bice, develops on Golden Cap’s theme, with a nod to Wizard of Oz, as L. Frank Baum wrote the book while summering in Holland, MI. White and dark roasted wheat provide deceptively delicious body, and a playful reference to Oz’s contrast between good and wicked witches. Caramel rye and barley continue the story, along with a unique yeast character and mild spicing.

I have tried this Saison for the first time and here is my initial reactions:
It has a sweet aroma and a good clear dark color, with a head that reminds me of a cola. It has a yeasty flavors of coriander and orange peel. It is light in flavor and not heavy like other dark beers. Personally not bad for a dark saison, a very drinkable beer.
Hi, Tim.
Thanks for reaching out and sharing your thoughts on Four Witches. We love hearing it, especially the brewer’s as they make notes for the next batch.
Cheers!
Great beer! Rich flavor, dull bodied. The rye gives a nice after tone. This thick beer is great slightly chilled just below room temperature. If you enjoy a good beer and appreciate a well crafted brew give this a try.
