Art in Fermented Form: A Manifesto

Brett VanderKamp, president of New Holland Brewing Company, recently released his first book, Art in Fermented Form: A Manifesto.

The book features a collection of stories about VanderKamp’s experiences in the beer and spirits industry, his favorite historical anecdotes and some frank thoughts on the future of craft.

VanderKamp founded New Holland Brewing Co. when he was just twenty-four-years old with his best friend and $10,000. He believed that his hometown of Holland and the brewing industry were due for a shake up and since then, New Holland has delivered just that. The same passion for balance, creativity and artistry in brewing and distilling is found in VanderKamp’s very personal manifesto.

Art in Fermented Form: A Manifesto may be purchased through New Holland’s online store (you can request an autographed copy to a recipient of your choosing), on Amazon, or you can pick up a signed copy in Downtown Holland at New Holland Brewing Co. restaurant and Pub (66 E. 8th Street).

We are proud to celebrate the release of New Holland’s own Fred “The Beervangelist” Bueltmann’s first book – Beervangelist’s Guide to the Galaxy.

Fred is an outspoken, fiercely passionate champion of well-made beer and food. His exuberant and sometimes manic quest to integrate beer more gracefully than just adding it to bread and soup led to this—Beervangelist’s Guide to the Galaxy. This book is not only chock-full of mouth-watering recipes and tantalizing photos, but also features mini-rants on the culture of food, drink, and entertaining.

Beervangelist’s Guide to the Galaxy may be purchased through New Holland’s online store (you can request an autographed copy to a recipient of your choosing), on Amazon, or you can pick up a signed copy in Downtown Holland at New Holland Brewing Co. restaurant and Pub (66 E. 8th Street).
