The Michigan Brewers Guild invites you to attend the Ticket Kick Off Party for the 11th Annual Summer Beer Festival
What: Ticket Kick Off Party for the Summer Beer Festival
Where: Aubree's (upstairs in Stix) in Depot Town,Ypsilanti
When: Thursday, May 1st from 5-9pm.
Who: Everybody is welcome
Attractions include:
· Festival ticket sales including a discount on the purchase of 2 day tickets. This will be the only opportunity to get this discount.
· Prizes including guild and brewery merchandise and festival tickets.
· Enjoy a beer with brewery staff from around the state
· An expanded selection of Michigan beers including some special features
New Holland Special Beers:.
New Holland ~ Firkin
Dragon's Milk Ale; a crown jewel of New Holland Brewing Company Dragon's Milk is a complex ale with a soft, rich caramel-malt character intermingled with deep vanilla tones; all dancing in an oak bath. 19° Plato, Alc. 8.5% by Vol.
New Holland ~ Draft
Existential Ale; This special ale boasts 200 pounds of malt per barrel yielding 25.5° Plato and a resulting 10.5% ABV as well as 10 hop-strikes, totaling 37 ounces per barrel of American-grown hops.

Journeyman pastry chef, Juliet Michelle leads you through the basics of chocolate tempering and the hand-made production of truffles and chocolate bars. She will be using the highest quality chocolates from Spain and Mexico in a hands-on class.
New Holland Brewing Company’s, Fred Bueltmann will be on hand to conduct a beer tasting, pairing the beers with chocolates and teaching the essentials in beer flavors and food pairing. Everyone will go home with some chocolate for the family. No savory foods will be served at this event. $45 per person – cash bar. (beer samples included). Space is limited, reservations required.

Come sample some of Michigan’s finest microbrewed beers and specialty brats!
The Michigan Beer & Brat Festival has quickly become Crystal's signature Memorial Day weekend event. This year the Michigan Brewers Guild will partner with Crystal for the festival featuring a variety of over 40 Michigan microbrews from Bell's, Short's, New Holland, Founder's, Arbor, Arcadia, Jolly Pumpkin and more. Specialty brats with a range of flavors from spicy jalapeno to tart cherry, Bavarian pretzels, and live entertainment will highlight the event as well.
$20 admission includes commemorative mug, plus seven beer and brat tickets.
- A sample size of beer (3-4oz) = 1 ticket
- A savor size of beer (full mug) = 3 tickets
- Brat = 3 tickets
Additional tickets will be sold at the price of $1 each.

A fundraiser for the Felt Mansion's LEED Certification effort.
Your $50 ticket includes a fabulous dinner from Till
Midnight, free beer tasting by Holland Brewing Company, the fantastic
sounds of blues and jazz from the Bluecoast Quintet, a short
presentation regarding the LEED endeavor, and a sneak peak at the
carriage house of Shore Acres Farm (one of the original estate
buildings that pre-dates the mansion.) This will be a wonderful
evening for a worthwhile cause. Please join us!
Date & Time: Friday, May 30: 6:30 p.m. - when it ends!
Cost: $50.00 per person; or 8 tickets (one table) for $300.00
Tickets are sold individually at regular price; or in groups of eight
for a discounted price. (No discounts for other increments.) Once
reserved and purchased, tickets cannot be refunded unless the event
is cancelled. Seating is limited to 80, and this event will most
likely sell out, so please reserve your tickets early.
