Don’t miss Northern Michigan’s ultimate cheese challenge where area chefs will suit up to compete for bragging rights at the First Annual Wisconsin Cheese Throw Down.

Join us as we celebrate our 12th anniversary at Hatter Days 2009.
The day starts with complimentary tours of our production facility and distillery.
Production facility tours are held at Noon, 1:30pm and 3pm.
We will have a complimentary shuttle from our pub in downtown Holland to our production facility at 11:45am, 1:15pm and 2:45pm.
Tours of our distillery will be held at our pub in downtown Holland at 2:30pm and 3pm.
Next up is the “Beer and Cheese Smackdown” at 5pm.
Co-founder Brett VanderKamp will take on two time defending champ and Beervangelist Fred Bueltmann. Brett and Fred will have six select cheeses that they will pair with separate New Holland beers. You will get to taste and judge their pairings, vote and decide the champion of Beer and Cheese Smackdown.
Cost is $5 and is limited to the first 30 people.
Other events throughout the day:
-We will have 11 Hatters and a Sour Ale on tap
-Special brunch beers available all day
-Hatter Day cookout on the back patio from 4pm-10pm
-Music from Funktion on the back patio from 7pm-9pm
And it all wraps up with the Mad Hatter Disco Ball.
