Sep 4, 2010 - 4pm-8pm - Beer Festival

Join us at Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa to celebrate all things Michigan!

Taste Michigan wines, sample Michigan craft beers, and enjoy local foods and signature products from throughout the state while you enjoy live entertainment by the Bihlman Bros and the company of family and friends.

The festival will be held outdoors on the slopeside lawn.

Join us as we ROCK THE FELT!

Rock the Felt is an outdoor concert weekend event taking place September 10-12, 2010.
The Rock the Felt concert weekend will be located in Shore Acres Township Park, adjacent to the Felt Mansion and the Saugatuck Dunes State Park.

...The first concert event on Friday, September 10 at 7 p.m. features The Guess Who with special guest Flashback.

Saturday, September 11 music begins at 1 p.m. and includes a great line-up of bands: Richy Nix, The Vandrie, Why Not Astronaut, Dirty Americans with headliner Pop Evil.

Sunday, September 12 begins at 1 p.m. and will host a family friendly extravaganza. More bands will be announced at a later date.

In addition to an outstanding musical line-up, Rock the Felt will also feature food and drink from a number of local restaurants, caterers, breweries and wineries including White House Bistro, Blue House Bistro, Spectators Bar and Grill, 25 Kitchen & Bar, The Gilmore Collection, Saugatuck Brewery, Restaurant Toulouse, New Holland Brewing Co. and Fenn Valley Wines.

New Holland will be one of 30 Michigan breweries serving nearly 200 different beers.

Zoo Brew (Potawatomi Zoo-500 South Greenlawn South Bend, IN)

Sep 11, 2010 - 7pm-10pm - Beer Festival

Zoo Brew is a beer-tasting event featuring beers from local and regional breweries and distributors.

This year, patrons will sample beers and food specialties while jamming to Alligator Blackbird, Michiana's favorite reggae and rock band.

Proceeds from Zoo Brew will benefit wildlife conservation, new naturalistic exhibits for the animals, and education programs. Your support will enable Potawatomi Zoo to continue to grow and d...evelop as one of region's finest Zoos.

**NEW** This year, the Zoo will be open for strolling from 7 to 8 p.m. Some animals may not be on exhibit due to weather conditions or other reasons. Beer must be consumed in beer garden area only; beer is not permitted in other areas of the Zoo.

Online ticket sales for Zoo Brew are now closed due to the limited number of tickets remaining. Call the Potawatomi Zoological Society office at (574) 288-4639 to inquire about availability.
