Black Tulip - Trippel Ale
Since the early 1600’s the Dutch have attempted to breed a pure black tulip. Many have tried, a few have come close, but none have succeeded. In honor of this elusive flower, the Holy Grail of the tulip world, we offer a special brew, Black Tulip Trippel.
Black Tulip is golden in color, with a slightly sweet body. Its ester-laden character reveals an enigmatic dance between Belgian ale yeast and candy sugar that conjures hints of bananas and rock candy. Its inviting flavor is complimented by a pleasing dry finish.

As the story goes, the charm of the Cap hails an otherwise mischievous band of winged-monkeys to carry out any three commands its owner wishes, such as carrying you from vast scarlet poppy fields to Emerald City, or even to the comfort of a country farmhouse.
Golden Cap Saison however, brings the comfort to you with its modern interpretation of a traditional farmhouse ale. A soft, pale beer, Golden Cap accentuates the flavors and aromas of summer fields. Brewed with an ancestor to wheat called spelt, and bottle-conditioned; it's straw-colored body accentuated with lively carbonation and unique fermentation profile evoke fresh cut hay and cracked peppercorns.

Pilgrim’s Dole is a barleywine-style ale made with fifty percent wheat malt, or what we at New Holland call a wheatwine. Pilgrim’s Dole blends warming and slightly sweet flavors with a unique caramelized character. It would be an excellent accent to nutty dishes, fruit crisps or creme brulee.
During the 14th century, the term “Pilgrim’s Dole” described the rations of bread and ale given to nourish wayfarers on their holy pilgrimage. At New Holland, Pilgrim’s Dole is brewed for the cultural explorer of today. It is a rewarding discovery on the road to enlightenment.
