| Ingredients | 1 bottle of The Poet 1/4 lb Brown Sugar 3 dashes nutmeg 2 tsp cinnamon salt and pepper to taste |
| Method | Either in a saucepan or into a baking dish with a meat already at cooking temp, pour in about 1/2 of the bottle of Poet Mix Brown sugar with other spices in a bowl and sprinkle into beer a few pinches at a time Add more beer as the first half begins to reduce slightly As the beer eventually begins to thicken, begin adding more and more of the sugar and spice mixture The beer and sugar will eventually turn into a viscous reduction, once it is to a thickness of your liking serve over grilled or roasted meats, particularly smoked pork products. Enjoy with a glass of the Poet or a great pumpkin ale, like Ichabod. |
| Notes | If you're in the right place at the wrong time try this with 12 oz of Night Tripper and enjoy the rest of the bottle with the fruits of your labor |
