New Holland Brewing will be participating in the “Session Beer Project” on April 7, 2012. This day is made to celebrate “session beer” which, most people agree is, “lower in alcohol, and more character-full than mass-produced light lagers.” April 7th is Little Repeal Day, when 4.0% ABV or lower beer became legal before the repeal of the 18th Amendment.
One of the aims of the Session Beer Project is to bring session brews into the spotlight because they aren’t always easy to find. The Session Beer Project has claimed April 7 as “Session Beer Day” and is reaching out to pubs from all over the country to throw some under 4.5% ABV beers on tap and promote them by offering a discounted price in order to get more people drinking session beers.
On Session Beer Day, New Holland Brewing will be offering one dollar off Doug E. Fresh and Full Circle beers! Come on down to the pub (66 E. 8th St. Holland, MI) to celebrate artfully crafted lower-alcohol beers! There is no cost to participate in session beer day (except for the beer you’ll be drinking!) Help NHB spread the word by inviting your friends, co-workers, family members, etc. and gather for a great beer cause!
