Many craft brewer’s will attest that whiskey barrels make great beer, and our Dragon’s Milk, a stout aged in bourbon barrels, is a delicious example. Beer Barrel Bourbon goes to show that the opposite is also true; beer barrels make remarkable whiskey.
Beer Barrel Bourbon is first aged in new American oak barrels for several years, before a three month beer-y slumber. The beer-barrel aging lends biscuity notes and a smooth malt character to the robust whiskey tones of toffee and caramel.
Type: Bourbon whiskey finished in oak beer barrels.
Proof: 80
ABV: 40%
Base/Wash: Bourbon sourced at 110-115 proof.
Bottle: 750 ML bottles, cases
Availability: Currently available in all markets.

Hi There~I am in the Chicago area and would like to buy a bottle of your Beer Barrel Bourbon as a Christmas gift. Where can I find it in this area? Thanks and it sounds wonderful!
Julia
Hi Julia!
I have to say, I’m a bourbon skeptic and Beer Barrel Bourbon totally turned me around. I’ve been bringing it to all my holiday parties and it’s always a hit.
The easiest way for you to get a hold of some BBB is probably through Binny’s (out of Chicago). You can both search area stores who are carrying it or order it through their website and have it shipped. Here’s a direct link, which should hook you up: http://www.binnys.com/all/beer%20barrel%20bourbon#/?page=1
Hope this helps and CHEERS!

Looking for the Beer Barrel Bourbon in the Chicago area. Binnys is out. Is there anywhere else and/or will Binnys receive delivery B4 Christmas? I am in a Chicago southern suburb.
Hi Rita,
I’m attaching our beer & spirits finder, which updates as retailers add stock. I don’t see any in Chicago area right now, but maybe a last minute holiday miracle?

Hi there – I’m trying to find some Beer Barrel Bourbon for a Christmas gift. Can you please tell me where to find it in the Charlotte, NC area? Thanks!
So sorry for the tardy response, Becky! I’m not seeing BBB in Charlotte right now. But here’s our beer & spirits finder link, it gets updated as retailers make purchases. Wishing you some Christmas luck!

Can you say what bourbon you used for this? I’m very curious.
Hi Pete,
I hate to sound like I’m in the CIA, but we actually can’t say at this point. Shoot. Sorry to sound secretive.
For now, I guess we just have to enjoy it!
Cheers to you!
Emily
That’s OK. Although I must admit, I was a bit disappointed when I learned that you purchased the bourbon from another distillery and only did the final aging of it. I was really hoping it was created from scratch right here in Michigan.
I haven’t opened my bottle yet (got it as a Christmas gift) but I’m sure it will be delicious.
