There’s no such thing as the "winter blues" in Michigan. Especially with the 2015 Michigan Brewers Guild Winter Beer Festival and Cold Beer Hot Eats – February 16-28.
We're hosting a MBG Winter Beer Fest Bus leaving from Holland on 2/28! If you've already got your beer fest tickets, we'll get you there in style! Check HERE for more details!
The New Holland Crew will be celebrating a week of Brews & Schmooze at the following places:
We're gearing up for Kalamazoo Beer Week, known fondly as KBW - January 10-17, 2015. In 2014 there were over 200 events in just 8 days - those are some numbers worth celebrating!
New Holland Brewing will be hanging out with our many friends in the 'zoo and hosting some events around town that we hope you'll be able to make!

Our inboxes and phones lit up yesterday when new life was breathed into a post from 2012 from Beer Street Journal, “Sam Calagione Gives Beer Geeks an Earful. And It’s Awesome" based on a post Sam made in the comments section of BeerAdvocate.com. Many of our friends got excited, because we’ve been beating a similar drum for a while, and it’s great that Sam weighed in, as he has the Beer Geek’s ear like no other. However, as we reflect we think there’s more at issue than the problematic instinct claiming that “brewers who dared to grow are overrated.”

This realization of my science deficiency definitely piqued when I sat down with our Woodmaster, Tim Faith, to talk about our new white sour ale – Incorrigible.
It’s probably important to mention, before we go any further, that I was a mediocre science student. I mostly had really smart lab partners who were perfectly happy with me recording data, so I didn’t accidentally sneeze over our petri dishes.
This worked well for my report card, but not so much for actually, you know, learning science stuff.
